Billing Software Upgrade

Happy Friday!!

We have been working hard this week upgrading our billing software to a new company called Ampstun. 

The new system offers some features that have been requested by our customers such as paperless billing, and text and email notifications.

As with any conversion there are challenges.  A couple of changes of note are-

  • Existing online payment information (this includes automatic payment by credit/debit card and Echecks) did not transfer over to the new system so everyone wishing to use our website online pay will need to register on our website at the “pay your bill now” link.  
  • Account numbers have changed as well. All account numbers will now be 6 digits long.
  • Neither of these changes should affect customers who pay through ACH Bank Draft.
  • No more postcards!! The new bills are full page and will resemble other utility bills you may receive.

It may be easier to wait until you have your next bill (that should arrive late next week) to go in and set up the new online portal information as it will have your new account number.

We have placed step-by-step instructions on both setting up a new online portal account as well as some helpful information about the change on our website at www.nudrc.org under Resources-New Billing Software.
